On March 27, 1999, a website named “Love White Paper” was founded and became one of the earliest gay websites in China. Later, it changed its name to “Aibai” and established Aibai Culture and Education Center (ACEC) accordingly. It offers information on LGBT issues, organizes cultural activities, engages in educational work, and offers legal advice.

 

 

Before the popularity of social media, aibai.com was the major source of LGBT news and information in the Chinese-speaking world. Its website also offers a Q&A column for LGBT people who have questions related to issues such as sexual orientation, sexual knowledge, love, and personal development. It is one of the most established and influential Q&A services for LGBT people in the Chinese-speaking world.
