Chiheng LGBT Center has provided services related to HIV prevention, sex education, gender identity, and capacity building for grassroots organizations in more than 10 cities in China. Started as a small volunteer group, it has provided services for the LGBT community for more than 10 years. Every year, it provides charity services to around 10,000 people. Now, it has more than 500 volunteers and 10 full-time staff members.

 

One of the most well-known branches of Chiheng LGBT Center is Guangzhou Chiheng LGBT Center. It was founded in 2009 and has officially registered with Guangzhou Bureau of Civil Affairs in recent years. It provides LGBT community services, including sexual health services; services for people living with HIV/AIDS; services provided by social workers on the issues of gender and health; cultural activities related to gender equality; policy advocacy for gender sensitivity; sex education; anti-discrimination; LGBT hotline; network building with LGBT charities around China; and capacity building.

 

Guangzhou Chiheng LGBT Center has maintained good rapport with the mainstream media and is also one of the co-organizers of the Rainbow Media Awards.

 

 

智同在全國10多個城市開展過愛防服務、性教育、社會性別服務、草根組織能力建設。從當初的志願者小組到如今，已有10多年的服務歷史。每年為上萬人提供社會公益服務。目前在全國範圍內有500多位志願者，10位全職工作人員。

 

廣州的智同中心是其中最為有名的，成立於2009年，在最近幾年民政註冊成功。開展的公益服務有：友同門診、愛滋感染者服務、性別/醫務社工、社會性別平等主題的文藝活動、性別友好政策宣導、性教育、反歧視、同志熱線、全國LGBT公益網路搭建和能力建設。                 

 

廣州智同同志中心與媒體一直有良好的互動，同時也是彩虹媒體獎的協辦組織之一。
