ShanghaiPRIDE began in 2009. It is the first Pride in China and the LGBTQ celebratory event that has been held the most number of times in China. It is organized entirely by volunteers from the local LGBT organizations with support from the media, individuals, businesses, and foreign consulates. It aims to foster the self-identity, increase the visibility and promote acceptance of the LGBTQ community through various sports, cultural, and social activities. Organized annually in the beginning of June, the festival is made up of a series of sports, cultural and social activities.

 

 

ShanghaiPRIDE Film Festival (ShPFF) has always been an important cultural program in ShanghaiPRIDE. ShPFF aims to facilitate the advancement of the rights and acceptance of LGBT people through screening films with queer characters and stories. ShPFF aims to develop into a platform for local talent to screen their works and to develop their filmmaking skills.

 

 

 

上海驕傲節始於2009年6月,是中國大陸的首個同志驕傲節,也是現存舉辦次數最多的LGBTQ慶典活動。上海驕傲節完全由志願者組織運營,並受到諸多媒體、個人、企業與各國領事館的支持。驕傲節旨在通過豐富多彩的體育、文化、社交活動為LGBTQ等提升自我認同、社會能見度與包容度。驕傲節通常於6月初開始，由一系列體育、文化、社交活動組成。

 

 

上海驕傲電影節(SHPFF)是上海驕傲節中的一項重要文化活動。上海驕傲節一直把電影作為其文化項目的一部分，通過螢幕讓酷兒角色和酷兒故事可見，從而促進了LGBT人群的權利進步和公眾接受度。上海驕傲電影節將於未來幾年內不斷發展，成為匯集本地電影人才的論壇。
