China Queer Digital Storytelling Workshop
「發現自我之旅」酷兒視頻工作坊
Founded in 2009, China Queer Digital Storytelling Workshop has organized more than 10 training workshops in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan and Xi’an. Around 100 people have participated in these workshops.
The workshop aims to provide a platform to give a voice to the Chinese LGBT communities. Most of the participants are lala, but they also include mothers with LGBT children, lovers, transgender people, university students, artists, bar owners, foreigners, volunteers, etc. Through a three-day workshop, participants have the chance to create a video to tell their own stories; to explore themselves, sort out their own past, and find hope in their future through drama and games involving psychological exploration; and to increase the visibility of the LGBT communities and to leave a record of the lives of LGBT people through digital dissemination. The videos concern a variety of issues, such as personal story, self-identification, lesbian social movement, and sexual politics. They provide a glimpse into the diversity of sexuality in China.
「發現自我之旅」酷兒視頻工作坊始於2009年，至今已在北京、上海、廣州、武漢、西安開展十餘次工作坊培訓，參與者近百人。
工作坊旨在爲多元性別群體提供一個發聲的平台，參與者以拉拉為主，包括同志母親、情侶、跨性別、大學生、酒吧老闆、藝術家、外國朋友、志願者等。通過三天的工作坊，參與者有機會親手製作一個視頻，講述自己的真實故事；通過豐富的戲劇與心理探索遊戲，挖掘自我，梳理過去，爲多元的未來尋找希望；通過數字媒體的傳播，提高LGBT群體的可見度，爲歷史存留LGBT群體的珍貴回憶。視頻的主題包括個人故事、自我認同、拉拉的社會運動、性政治，呈現了中國多樣化的性／別景觀。
