Gender and Sex Education Forum was founded by Professor Ai Xiaoming in 2003. It aims to organize a variety of activities on gender and sexuality and to build a diverse gender/sexuality friendly campuss. It is well-known for premiering the Chinese version of Vagina Monologue in 2003 under the aegis of Professor Ai Xiaoming. Since 2005, it has organized the annual rainbow flag-waving campaign to combat homophobia and in support of gender diversity and equal rights for LGBT people.

中山大學性別教育論壇由艾曉明教授於2003年創建。性別教育論壇旨在建立一個對多元性/別友好的校園。自從2003年開始，性別教育論壇就舉辦了許多與性／別議題相關的行動。例如2003年，性別教育論壇在艾曉明老師帶領下組織演出了國內第一次中文版的《陰道獨白》。從2005年開始，性別教育論壇每年也組織揚彩虹旗反恐同活動來支持性別多元和性別平權活動。
